Thanks Kusanigi for tagging me, actually, I still have no idea what this is... but I just want to answer the questions!!!!
For this award you:

3. Tell something about yourself you haven't told anyone on your blog yet.
4. Award as many blogs that you think are worthy of this award.
5. Make sure you let those you gave the award to know that you awarded them.
Award Questions:
1. What is your go-to makeup product?
Hmm... It changes every now and then... Currently I think it's the sun-block + pressed/loose powder. I need it so that my face stays matt longer in Singapore's hot weather now. It's so humid now, it may rain but weather's still hot! So sunblock + powder is a must!
2. What was your favorite fashion trend of 2011?
Hmm.... I don't follow fashion trends much... I like the trend where we were all having fun wearing vests, was it last year?
3. What is your favorite dessert?
Anything cold and chocolate. We have hot desserts here in case you're wondering.
4. Favorite color?
Born purple, die purple. Sometimes red.
5. What is your middle name?
I give myself "Funny", but I don't have a middle name.
6. What was the last song you listened to?
hmm... Glee's version of Billionaire.
Something you don't know about me yet:
The whole word knows I'm a little OCD. I'm also a shopaholic. Other than beauty products, I also love shoes, bags, clothes, accessories ! So imagine OCD + Shopaholic, it means I spent my Sundays categorizing them.
I actually categorized my clothes according to colors followed by office or casual wear. Jackets, cardigans and office bottoms go to the other side of my wardrobe, which I did the same categorizing. Thankfully, I have only less than 5 bottoms. My jeans are all folded and placed under my tops so that I can easily match them.

Beauty Buys Items and Reviews
Hi everyone! So, here's the list on beauty purchase I bought in the past 2-3 weeks... Seriously, I'm so gonna throw my credit card at home...
RMK
Clockwise from left: Skin Tuner Smoother Light, Sprinkling Eyes in 03, Creamy Polished base in 02, Face Powder Ex in 02 |
Skin Tuner Smmother, S$60: We tried this during the workshop, and I love its fruity fragrance. My skin did feel less dehydrated after application. Never really thought much about toners, usually I just want to clear the debris on my face. I bought this one as it doubles up as moisturizer, so one less step for me in the morning.
This is a multipurpose product. Works as toner + moisturizer. I believe this one is for combi to oily skin. |
Face Powder EX in 02, S$72: This must be the most expensive loose powder I ever bought. Actually, I wanted the pressed powder, I didn't check that it was actually loose powder. I never like loose powder because the powder will fly everywhere. However, when I opened it up, I love how the sift is rubber with slits, instead of the usual holes kind. I tried the pressed version during the workshop, so I can't really comment on how this is. However, if it's not too different, then it shouldn't too bad. The pressed powder was quite fine and easy to apply, so this loose powder shouldn't be too far from it. I had tried Bobbi Brown's pressed powder and I don't like it, it actually felt rough for me.
I love how the elegant design of this compact except its size. It has a smooth rounded corners and the material doesn't feel too plastic. The puff itself is very soft to the touch. I'm not good at explaining, but I like the chrome gold color and how it looked metallic without being too hard looking.
I love how elegant the compact case looks, however, it's a bit fat |
How it looks inside, with the powder puff |
It has slits in the rubber sift, as compared to other loose powder compact which has round holes . I like this better. |
Sprinkling Eyes in 03, S$76: The eye palette I bought is limited edition for the Spring Collection. During the workshop, while most people tried the default green palette the MA from Japan was testing, I went for the purple! I had always been a purple person, so although green suits everyone, I go for purple.
Seriously, it looked so pretty! And after I applied it, the RMK assistant MA were all gushing how gorgeous it looks on my eyes! It really shamed the other purple colors I had.
Th design of the compact is very reflective, and also fingerprints attractor. They should have stick to the design they had for the loose powder, rounded edges. Case aside, I like the brush applicator that came with. All makeup should go for brush seriously, sponge is so hard on the skin, no? I never like sponge applicator, and I still don't understand why I bought The Body Shop eye sponge brush.
The very vain compact for all girls! Mirror outside! Super reflective! Had a hard time taking it without showing myself inside! Kept shifting my hands! |
The colors! My camera can't capture how gorgeous it actually looks! |
Creamy Polished Base in 02, S$58: This is a makeup base, and it's almost as good as my Benefit Porefessional. It comes with different shades, so you can find a suitable shade to even out skin tone. My makeup did last whole day, for almost 10 hours! The workshop was at 11am, and I had it on until 10pm.
In my opinion, probably can skip foundation when going for natural look.
I love this base! Evens out my skin as it is tinted! |
The free gifts I got for purchasing more than S$300. I just love travel size products! The products are arranged from skin care to makeup.
L_R: Cleansing Milk (top), Cleansing Gel, Creamy Soap, Skin Tuner Smoother Moist (this one is for dry skin), UV Face Protection (top), Recovery Gel (night treatment), Creamy Polished base, Smoothing Polished Base (satchels), Liquid Foundation in 102
Free gifts! |
I absolutely love the nail polish! All I need is one coat and it gives a beautiful finish! This color is Sh04 - Shiny Rose. Superb!
Nail Color EX. Door gift! Given when we signed up as early birds. |
Paul & Joe
Peel-Off Mask, S$30: P&J was having sale, how can I missed it? There were makeup and skincare. I tried their makeup remover (cleansing milk) before, and it was not bad. So I thought why not try their peel-off mask. I love peel-off masks not only it was fun, I like the sensation of how tight my skin feels after. I tried the Missha Orange Peel-Off mask before, my first and last. I also bought a BioEssence one last year, but I haven't tried it. Will do reviews of course, after I used them.

SK-II
SK-II was promoting this special set, so I thought I "go take a look", which ended up as "to go and buy". Ha ha. It was pretty rush for me, coz I was meeting my friend for dinner at 7.30, my facial finished at around 7.15. So from seeing to buying took less than 10 minutes.
Facial Treatment Essence, S$209: I've been using the FTE for almost a year, I'm still waiting to get that clarity I see in TVC leh. Clarity aside, I actually had less breakouts. After using Lancome Genefique and then stopped using, my face was breaking out here and there, got worse during PMS. It got better after I used this, so I kinda stick to it. Not to mention it is bigger size and cheaper.
(However, I bought the Genefique and Visionnaire last year, supposedly to work better for my skin, let's see. Gonna try them after I finished with my current FTE.)

Aura Whitening Set, S$199: Did you see how Michelle Phan's skin glow with just applying the Cellumination? Ok, I'm am a sucker and I admit it. Anyway, it's a promo set, so I might as well get it. Free mask and FTE 30ml. I hope my skin becomes smooth and fair like them after using.

I'm obviously dying to get skin like Cate's! |

These are the free gifts (travel size), other than the Emulsion which was given for pruchasing more than $400, the rest was part of the package when buying the FTE 215ml.
L-R: Facial Treatment Cleansing Gel x 2, FT Gentle Cleanser, FT Clear Lotion (toner), FTE, Faial Lift Emulsion, Cellumination Deep Surge
Free gifts! Temptation! |
Chanel Mini Brush Set, S$130: Ever since Chanel Beauty Boutique hit ION, I'm always tempted to go in! That is really a prime location, right outside then gantry, and people will always be greeted by their luminously lit shop. This brush set must have been launched for almost 2 months, and I always tell myself whenever I walked past, "No more brushes, I have enough". Gave in when I realized I still have budget for shopping this month. Damn, should have saved it for upcoming HK trip... Anyway, I don't regret buying. coz the brushes are so soft! The pouch is so practical too! Other than having the slots for the brushes, it has a compartment to keep cosmetics. This travel set is really for travel! In the past, I always had to have a separate bag for my makeup other than bringing the brushes. This is really convenient! And it's S$130 for 6 mini brushes, way cheaper than my Bobbi Brown Travel Set. BB was my first set of high end makeup brushes, and it costs S$220 2 years ago. After that, it never come up with any sets with 6 brushes, only 4, and usually at S$160 I think. Not to mention, the pouch was pretty but nothing, I still love BB brushes, but not the pouch.
Okay, that' all for my beauty buys. Gonna bring food from home to work next 2 months liao, save $$$$!
Now, I'm also tempted to do a blog on all my current beauty products that are still sitting in my drawer. Heh heh. I have so much!
