Cleaning Makeup Brushes

Hi everyone! I finally filmed and uploaded the vid on brush cleaning! I used to use facial cleanser to wash my brushes until I saw this affordable cleaning agent at Daiso. Daiso is really my price friendly heaven.

I like to use a cup, because I find it easier to contain the brushes and it saved a lot of water since it doesn;t involve brushes going under running water!

RIP, My fav old makeup

Hi Hi Everybody!

This is like a post mortem of my old makeup, heh heh. Most of them are my favorite items, especially the lip gloss. I was babbling a bit, so what I meant was the lip gloss used to smell really nice and tasted a bit sweet, but now after using for such a long time, all these qualities are gone. The lip gloss is not too sticky, has a very smooth consistency. The applicator is so so bah, coz I don't really bother about applicators.

I love the lipstick color, looks like an enhanced version of my natural lip color with shine. It applied on quite smoothly, but I do recommend putting some lip balm to prep the lip first.

As for the eyeshadow, it wasn't exactly my favorite. I bought this set of colors because I don't have pink! Really lame reasons to buy, but I found out it complements with brown really well! Among all the shades, I like the highlight color most, the other two shades, I can do without. The texture is really smooth, and it has little sheen to it.

The mascara works really well, giving my eyelashes the much needed volume until it decides to dry up and clump on me, after 3 -4 months. Is it the normal shelf life on a mascara?

DIY Magnetic Makeup Palette

Hi Everyone. This is my ideal makeup palette! Heh heh, inspired by all the other magnetic palettes tho. I did search on DIY Makeup Palette after I created this video and I saw a lot using CD cases, which I thought was really environmental friendly! Shame on me for buying the metal case, but it was too cute not to buy!

Basically, I decided to do it myself because I was too cheapo to buy MAC or Z Palette, and with many gurus' reviews, they ain't that sturdy. Unii Palette was out of my budget and I really don't need another mirror. So I thought why not I do one good one myself.

I thought of using glue, but it didn't appeal to me as reusable, so I searched high and low for the magnetic stripe. And after I searched on youtube, do I realise there's a magnetic paper. Super mountain tortoise me.

Hope you all enjoy this tutorial and let me me know what you think!
